Children need to be protected against the sun's harmful UV rays. Therefore, Bugaboo has developed an innovative sunshade with special UV reflective coating to offer another layer of protection against the sun, as well as flying insects, like mosquitoes, bees, and wasps.
The Bugaboo Sunshade is available for the Bugaboo Bee, Cameleon, Gecko, and Frog Strollers. This Sunshade is compatible with the Bugaboo Breezy Sun Canopies (sold separately below). The Bugaboo Sunshade is constructed of layered mesh with UV reflective coating and is available in the color of silver.
As shown in the larger view image above, you can use the Bugaboo Breezy Sun Canopy together with their sunshade (sold separately below). When the Bugaboo sunshade is used in combination with the Breezy Sun Canopy, the result is maximum UV protection, while the parent can still see the child and vice versa. The fabric of the Breezy Sun Canopy complies with the Australian standards (UPF 50+), since this is the strictest in the world. The mesh air vents and sunshade reflect 65% of UV rays.
